INTERNATIONAL GROUP COMPANY (IGC) started its activities as trading company in supplying equipments to the Industrial, Oil, Gas and Electrical sectors, and then started building qualified staff in installation, commissioning and operation of the supplied equipments which have been done under supervision of long experience engineers in the field of Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Control and Operation.

IGC also started building a staff for maintenance, civil, and services, the first start activity was contract to do services and maintenance for more than 200 diesel generators in the southern part of Iraq; the contract included supplying the consumable like filters, oils, spare parts. Also supplying new generators with installing and starting up these generators. In addition to building shades, concrete base skids and laying pipe systems for these generators. IGC through this contract covered the services works and maintenance for all the generators in south Region of Iraq in (Basrah, Nassiriyah, and Ammarah). IGC does maintenance to all kinds of generators ( Cummins , Perkins , Caterpillar , Deutz , Mercedes , MTU , Mitsubishi , … etc. ).  IGC commitment and rapid response built the interest and trust with clients the matter that let IGC to get more and more orders.

The above orders gained IGC more experiences and accuracy in completing its works. IGC began to develop its works and dealings with local and international clients to achieve other orders. IGC won an order from a French company called Vatech Transmission & Distribution Co. (Subsidiary of Siemens Co.). This order included supplying and installing new air-conditioning system with designing and doing new duct systems and ventilation systems in addition to providing all the electrical supplies for the air-conditioning packages and all other required accessories for Um Qaser Electrical Substation in south of Iraq , Basrah.

Afterwards, IGC started to expand its works in south part of Iraq especially with Ministry of Oil, Ministry of Industry and all their affiliated companies. IGC won to get many local orders for supplying different types of equipments such as (Diesel Generators with different ranges, Pumps, Air Compressors, Well Head Equipments, Valves, Flanges and Fittings, … etc ). IGC also contributed in installing and commissioning up the supplied equipments in coordinating with the clients. Also due to the situation of Iraq IGC bear the warranty period by itself by which IGC gained more experiences in this field and led to develop its technical staffs.
